Vape Disposal
VaperVapour Vape Disposal
To dispose of your vapes responsibly, never place them in household rubbish or recycling bins, as their lithium-ion batteries can cause fires. Take the entire device to a designated small electrical item recycling bin at a local Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC), a supermarket collection point, or any vape retail store.
Responsible Disposal Process:
- Disposable Vapes & Pods: Because they contain mixed materials (plastic, metal coils, and cotton) and nicotine residue, pre-filled pods and disposables cannot go in your household recycling. They must be recycled in dedicated vape or small electrical item bin.
- Rechargeable Vape Kits: If your device has an easily detachable battery, separate it out and drop the battery in a battery recycling bin. The rest of the device goes into the small electrical item bin.
- Empty E-Liquid Bottles: Most bottles are made from PET plastic. Simply rinse them out, remove the cap/nozzle, and place them in your standard household recycling bin.
- VaperVapour Recycling Service: You can mail them to our warehouse: WEEE & Battery Returns, VaperVapour Ltd, 30-31 St James Place, Mangotsfield, Bristol, BS16 9JB.
- To locate your nearest public recycling facility, enter your postcode into the Recycle Your Electrical items Locator or the Recycle Now Centre Finder.
