Certain lawmakers are arguing that vaping should be banned in public areas because they fear it will put people at risk through second-hand exposure. Most recently, Los Angeles joined the campaign to outlaw public vaping, claiming that e-cig vapour contains dangerous toxins like lead, nickel, nicotine, and chromium. However scientific evidence refutes lawmaker claims. The research discovered that the same alleged toxins in second-hand vapour are also commonly found in outdoor air and consequently in human breath.
